Personal Finance, Money, and Investing Podcasts

What Is A Podcast And Why? First, let's get back to the basics, because that's where I was only six months ago. A podcast is basically an audio program that you can listen to on your iPhone or any other mobile phone. You can also listen to them on your desktop or tablet. The best way I can describe it is a radio show without advertising on a specific topic. For example, one memorable podcast I listened to recently was an interview with Jean Chatzky on a podcast. Just like in a radio show, the presenter (or presenters) talks about a certain topic or interviews a "name" in a certain topic - in this matter Jean Chatzky. Most podcasts last between 20 minutes and over an hour, on average about 30 to 40 minutes. This is where they come into play as a great media form - they are the perfect length to drive on the way to work, training or waiting for travel. In a way, think of it as an audio blog post-you will get the content you want, but in an audio format so that you can enjoy it on the go. You can't really read a blog while driving   If you've never listened to a podcast, this is pretty easy to do. The iPhone comes with a built-in podcast app, or many people turn to apps like Spotify. After opening the app, find the podcast you want and tap Play. If you are reading this on your iPhone, you can also click on the links below! Anyway, here are some of my favorite investment podcasts in no particular order. If you have never listened to a podcast, I invite you to try one of the following: Best Podcasts About Money And Investments Here is our list of the best podcasts about money and investments. Some focus specifically on specific areas of money and investing (such as real estate), while others focus more broadly on the topic. I think you will find aspects of every podcast show entertaining. Rehabilitation of money Money Rehab with Nicole Rabbit is a great daily podcast that covers a variety of topics. From interviews with interesting people to short, actionable episodes that give you specific ideas about the things you should be doing right now. Nicole has been an author, influencer and personal finance personality for years, eliminating her from the park with her daily podcast.   The Dave Ramsey Show The Ramsey Show is a mainstay of personal financial information. Dave Ramsey turned his daily radio show into a widely listened podcast. But it's not "just" Dave anymore-you can find Dave and a lot of cohosts on the show these days. If you're looking for debt relief help and enjoy call-style shows, then the Dave Ramsey Show is for you. In addition, Dave has one of the best "radio" voices that exist at the moment, which makes this show a pleasant listening, even if you have no problems getting out of debt. Planet Silver by NPR Planet Money is NPR's money podcast. It's a bi-weekly show that focuses on money and economic issues-shared in an incredibly insightful way. This podcast is very produced, with high quality guests. Exactly what you expect from an NPR production. The great thing about this show is that the topics it addresses are quite current with what is happening in the national news media.
